After the amazing success of 2025 – when, together, we raised almost £1.2 million for Cancer Research UK – Slimming World is delighted to be an official sponsor of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life again in 2026!
What is Race for Life?
If you’ve never taken part before, the aim is to run, walk or jog a distance of 3, 5 or 10K (decked out in pink if you like!), to raise money for research into cancer.
Our video crew went along to last year’s York event, to cheer on Slimming World racers and give you a sneak peek of what to expect…
At Slimming World, we believe that exercise is for everyone, and we’ll support you on your journey to becoming more active – no matter your fitness level or lifestyle. Race for Life is a brilliant event for our members to sign up for, as you can go at a pace to suit you!
